My wonderful vintage wrought iron door from Demolition Depot was just installed by Promaster Gates. It's spectacular, couldn't be happier or more satisfied with both companies.

Ilona at Demolition was so helpful and patient with me. She went out of her way to help navigate what would or wouldn't work for my project. She she spent loads of time with me to find the perfect solution to my unique security problem.

She was candid and had loads of amazing tips for the care and feeding of old wrought iron. This project would have stalled without her.

The pictures show the iron door in the second stage. Final painting will happen when the weather warms up.
Thanks Ilona it's been a great experience. You have so many beautiful things, I want more!

Evan Blum needs to stay in his own neighborhood and mind his own business. Nasty comments on a Nassau county newspaper to a town he doesn’t live in or pay for. No one care what you think.

I guess if it's the only salvage yard you can get to then it's worth poking around. Some interesting pieces but selection was disappointing. Prices are pretty skewed compared to other places just west or upstate. Wasn't very easy to work with, kept leading us on about stock they supposedly had but which we couldn't track down.

Not much left at this location. The nice sales associate told us that they have moved most of the artifacts to Connecticut.

Love this place. A designer's dream come true! I have to admit that it's not your average antique store. A lot of pieces are used by production designer's who are borrowing them for TV and movies. But it is definitely a place every interior designer or design novice should visit. Amazing

Super cool place, lots of floors -- seemed haunted! Cool af! I went with my friend to gov ball, and this place caught my eye on the way! I was very interested in the large selection of old knick knacks and items they had to offer. They even had a floor full of antique statues and bathtubs which was far more interesting that I would've guessed!

The owner, Evan Blum, owns an abandoned warehouse in Albany that he refused to clean up and which dumped chunks of debris onto Amtrak tracks, causing all trains out of Albany to be cancelled indefinitely. Hundreds of NYers have and will miss trains and had cancelled trips because of him. Rather than clean up his property, he sued the city so it could continue to decay. He also owes back taxes on the property and refuses to pay it. We deserve better than business people like this who disrespect our community and our public transportation. If you do business with him, you are part of the problem.
